Experience the visual side of Nordic cooperation and the Nordic countries

During the Finnish Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers, about a hundred meetings, conferences and seminars and other events will be organised in Finland and the other Nordic countries. The picture gallery that we provide on this page gives you a chance to get first-hand information about our work and the events. The page introduces you to Nordic politicians, public officials and landscapes, and you can see who is participating in various events. In the picture quiz you can see photos that we have received as contributions to our quiz. We hope that this picture gallery will give you a better view of the Nordic countries and the Nordic cooperation and that the page helps you learn to know a number of Nordic opinion leaders.

Nordic cooperation is largely based on participation in different meetings, primarily ministerial conferences and meetings of senior officials. In these meetings, participants discuss the policy lines and work out guidelines for various fields, such as culture issues.
